Carolyn Barker

Carolyn is the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Institute of Management Qld & NT and Managing Director of TheCyberInstitute Pty Ltd. Under Carolyn's leadership the AIM Group has grown to be an interrelated cluster of commercial education, publishing and on-line learning businesses. She consults to business, industry and government on leadership and organisational growth and change.

She has authored and edited the best selling Management Today and Management @ Work book series.

Carolyn holds an MBA from the University of South Australia and is an Adjunct Professor at Griffith University. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and sits on the National Board of the Institute. She is Chairman of The Queensland Orchestra and a Deputy Chairman of the Powerhouse Centre for Live Arts.

In 2005, Carolyn was awarded an Order of Australia for services to management and the arts.
