Total Intelligence and the New Quantum Paradigm

Our understanding of the range and varieties of human intelligence has increased greatly in the past decade. We used to believe that IQ was the only accurate measure of intelligence. But IQ is only our rational, logical intelligence. In the mid-1990’s, Daniel Goleman demonstrated that we also have EQ, or “Emotional Intelligence,” our ability to empathise with and understand others, and to deal with them effectively. In 2000, Danah Zohar added to these two intelligences by introducing SQ, or “Spiritual Intelligence,” our ability to access and use meaning, fundamental values, and a deep sense of purpose.

In this lecture, Danah Zohar will argue that when we can get IE, EQ, and SQ into maximum synergy, a still higher state of intelligence, “Total Intelligence,” becomes possible. TQ allows us to function at peak performance and it also catapaults us into a new kind of “quantum thinking.” With quantum thinking, we can build a new world-view, or paradigm, for human relations, politics and society. The shift to this new paradigm would represent a “quantum leap” in global consciousness, and bring us to the fulfilment of human potential.
