Managing the Global Workforce – The Global 20©

This presentation provides managers with a comprehensive understanding of how workforce management changes as business expands overseas. The Global 20© provides a template approach to assessing workforce opportunities and challenges when moving outside the home country.

Virtually no business today is free from the impact of the global economy. Being able to outperform the competition means searching for ways to do more with less, increase productivity, reduce costs and improve operating efficiency.

Trying to be an expert on all things global is not the answer. Countries change their business environments, business strategy shifts and financial situations change. Using a template based approach ensures key issues are not overlooked, key steps are completed and costs are effectively identified resulting in a more accurate understanding of global human capital management.

A template of the 20 most important things that impact a company’s return on total capital when moving from domestic to global operations will be presented. This template is based on the result of twenty years of global HR management and experience directing more than 30 start-up businesses around the world
